Welcome to UniversalDesign4Learning!

This is a wiki for the course SPED 220: Universal Design for Learning - Implications for Career Assessment and Transition at The George Washington University. As a class, we are creating this wiki to share our knowledge among ourselves and with others who recognize the importance of designing learning environments and curricula that incorporate multiple, flexible methods of presentation, expression, and engagement.

 

 

We adhere to the following community principles:

  • Diversity among ourselves and others is respected,
  • Teamwork can create products richer than can be created by an individual in isolation,
  • Choices related to methods of expression and engagement provide richer experiences
  • Appropriate accommodations support meaningful participation, and
  • Risk-taking is necessary when educators explore new territories!
