 Universal Design (UD), Universal Design of Instruction (UDI) and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) are closely related concepts, but each has a unique focus and application. It is important that the leading voices (that's including all of us here on this wiki!) use the terms and the concepts in the proper way.

 

 To "get our heads around" these concepts, let's use this space to write about the similarities and differences between UD, UDI, and UDL!

 

A good place to begin might be with thinking about who uses each philosophy...
